Cream Cheese Fruit Dip - Delicious, lightened-up creamy fruit dip made with cream cheese and plain yogurt. The results are a super creamy and perfectly sweet Cream Cheese Fruit Dip. Staring at this picture and dreaming of a big ole spoon and all the goodness inside that. A must for summer parties and FRUIT DIP RECIPE- The best, quick and easy dip, homemade with simple ingredients.
Super Easy Creamy Fruit Dip step by step
- Let Cream Cheese sit out for about 1 hour to come to room temperature (NOTE: the preparation time does not include the hour to let Cream Cheese set out).
- In medium-large bowl, mix together the room temperature Cream Cheese and container of Marshmallow Fluff with a big spoon. (The Fluff can be tricky to get all out of the container. Use a spatula as this works better than a spoon) Tip: If you prefer it to be very very creamy, you can use a hand mixer to bring the two ingredients together. Just don't beat it for too long or it can start to get a little runny..
- Add the 1/2 tsp of vanilla extract to the combined Cream Cheese and Marshmallow Fluff. Stir in the vanilla until combined..
- Optional: Finely chop up an orange or half a pineapple (or fruit of your choice) and add to the dip. Stir in the fruit until evenly distributed..
- Wash and cut the strawberries in half lengthwise..
- This is where you can choose the method you prefer. You can put a small spoonful of the dip onto each strawberry and dust with powdered sugar or sprinkle chocolate shavings over the top of each. OR You can nicely plate the halved strawberries and let your guests dip them themselves..
- Finally, enjoy! :) P.S. This dip is great for all fruit, not just strawberries. I just personally think it's best with strawberries..
Perfect for dipping fresh fruits and cookies. It's creamy and perfectly sweet with plenty of vanilla, making it taste a bit like frosting! Serve with strawberries or other fresh fruit. This dip is my version of 'clean eating'. It's a combination of honey, lemon, and yogurt.
